How to Use Bard

You only need to visit bard.google.com to start using Bard and, if necessary, sign up for the waiting list. After joining up, it took me only a few hours to get access. Once inside, you'll see that Bard functions much like ChatGPT, complete with a chatbox where you can type a prompt and get a reply.

ChatGPT vs Google Bard

I asked both chatbots to create a YouTube script for my next video so in order to evaluate Bard's capabilities and compare them with ChatGPT. Although both chatbots could deliver a script, the layout slightly differs. Bard divided the script into sections, including an introduction, steps, an outro, and further advice while the script was delivered by GPT as a single block of text with no categorization, however. Although Bard's suggestion was not relevant to my YouTube video, it was still fascinating to observe his method.

I then requested both chatbots to write a song for me. In this case, GPT's reaction appeared to be more imaginative than Bard's, ChatGPT offering a more intriguing and focused outcome. Even so, their responses followed a similar structure and duration. Finally, I requested trip destination recommendations from both chatbots. Again, GPT distinguished itself by offering specific places rather than just cities, providing me more possibilities to think about.

The capability of Bard to conduct a similar Google search by hitting a button is an amazing feature. The chatbot's response can be compared to the outcomes of a Google search using this method, which is quite useful. Users can also speak into the microphone feature on Bard to have their remarks typed out in the chatbox.

Even while Bard is currently catching up to GPT in terms of capabilities, it moves quickly—especially when compared to GPT-4's limitations. It will be interesting to see how Bard develops and goes off against GPT in the future, even though both chatbots have their advantages and disadvantages.

In conclusion, even though both Bard and GPT are practical chatbots with their own distinctive features, GPT continues to be the more well-known choice. But, as Bard develops more, it might rival GPT in strength. In the end, it comes down to personal opinion, so feel free to give them both a shot and decide which you like best!
